As I sit here looking out the window of the bridal suite at Bentwood Yacht Club, listening to my sisters (one of whom is the bride) and the other bridesmaids talking and getting ready, I’m struck by so many feelings.  I’m sad that my dad died three years ago and isn’t here to give my sister away.  I’m so thrilled for Katy and Kyle and their future together.  I’m really proud to be a part of this wonderful day.  I can’t get over my youngest sister getting married.  I’m also ready for it to be over because I am tired!  Yeah, I’m all over the place.

Today’s is going to be a short post because I need to go get ready.  I had better put on the waterproof mascara!  And bring on the champagne
